A team of experts at your service

In addition to the eight partners, the firm has thirteen members of l’Ordre des Évaluateurs Agréés du Québec and one member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Raymond Joyal also has more than twenty-five technicians, in addition to its clerical staff.

After beginning his career in 1986, at Raymond Joyal as a real estate appraiser, Bertrand Tremblay then joined Natgen, a real estate property firm, managing a residential and commercial property liquidation portfolio.

 In 1994 he joined Raymond Joyal as a partner, he is currently the president since 2010.

His fields of interest include capital gain, estate planning, financing, insurance and real estate property acquisition and sale. He has also developed extensive expertise in litigation as a consultant and expert witness. He is called to testify before Quebec courts more than twenty times a year.

Simultaneously, Bertrand Tremblay is also responsible for supervising an important diversified apartment, commercial and office building portfolios.

After graduated in 1980 in architectural technique, Gilles Picard made his first steps in the field of property valuation as a technician for the firm Roger Chouinard et Associés.

He continued his career, joining in 1983, Compagnie d’Évaluation Métropolitaine.

In 1985, Compagnie d’Évaluation Métropolitaine merged to become what is now Raymond Joyal. His status as senior technician remained the same until 2006 when he became a partner in the firm.

He provided throughout his professional career technical support, and expertise in many expropriation cases in addition to his expertise in research at the Bureau de la Publicité des Droits and building inspections and costs.

He is a member of ''l’Ordre des technologues du Québec'' and ''l’Association des techniciens en évaluation foncière du Québec''.

After obtaining a position as an evaluation technician at a private firm on the South Shore of Montreal, Hugo Généreux continued his studies at UQAM and obtained his Baccalaureate in Business Administration in 2017.
 
In the same year, he joined the firm Raymond Joyal to complete his internship for the title of Chartered Appraiser, a title he subsequently obtained in December 2018. Afterwords, Hugo Généreux quickly rose through the ranks of the firm and became a partner in the merger with Groupe Desnoyers  in 2021.
 
After years of a rich learning experience at Raymond Joyal, he has developed a wide range of knowledge to carry out assessments for properties of all kinds (residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and land) for a variety of purposes.

In addition to these areas of expertise, he manages a large real estate portfolio that includes multi-family buildings.

He is a certified member of the ''Ordre des Évaluateurs Agréés du Québec'' and an accredited member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Luc Desnoyers began his career in 2007 in the family business of Groupe Desnoyers as head of operations management. His career progressed steadily, and he became an evaluator technician, analyst, and real estate consultant. 

He subsequently became a Project Manager in training new evaluative technicians. Luc Desnoyers is also Account Executive for residential clients «Mouvement Desjardins-NAS-Solidifi-FNF». 

​In 2020, he was administrator and manager of Groupe Desnoyers.

In May 2021, following the merger of Groupe Desnoyers with Raymond Joyal, he became a partner technician at Raymond Joyal.

A graduate of UQAM, Guy Desnoyers holds several certificates, including one in administration, one in real estate, one in service administration, and one in management development.

He began his career at his family business of Groupe Desnoyers in 2002 as an evaluator technician, analyst, and real estate consultant. Subsequently, he became Project Manager in Human Resources. 

​His career has progressed as Director of the "Residential" Evaluation Service, Project Manager for Tenders, City of Longueuil Exclusive Account Manager, and finally, Director of the Evaluation Service "Terrain-vacant". In 2020, he was appointed administrator-manager of Groupe Desnoyers.

In May 2021, following the merger of Groupe Desnoyers with Raymond Joyal, he became Partner Consultant Analyst of Raymond Joyal.

In 2017, Guillaume Pharand graduated from Collège Montmorency  as a real estate evaluation technician. Shortly thereafter, he started his career as a technician at Raymond Joyal. He immediately began his baccalaureate study at UQÀM, which he completed in 2020 with major in finance and real estate business. He specialized in finance through the CFA Institute program before adding the Québec Chartered Appraiser title in 2022.
​
His career has led him to work on a wide range of properties: residential, multi-unit, commercial, land and industrial. He specializes in the valuation of multi-unit and commercial properties and mainly works over mortgage and fiscal topics.

​His hard work and experience with the Raymond Joyal firm has earned him a partnership, at 25 years of age.

He is a certified member of the ''Ordre des Évaluateurs Agréés du Québec''

​Josée-Anne Tremblay first earned her baccalaureate in Political Science.  In addition, a graduate degree specializing in major risk management and a real estate certificate from UQÀM,

She started work at Raymond Joyal as an evaluation technician in 2018 and quickly rose through the ranks to become a partner in 2023.

She obtained the title of Chartered Appraiser during 2023 and became the first woman to join the company’s board of directors.

Over the years, her areas of expertise have focused on the evaluation of residential, multi-family and commercial properties for financing purposes, tax matters and legal disputes. She also has considerable experience in evaluating vacant land and farmland.

She is an accredited member of the ''Ordre des Évaluateurs Agréés du Québec''.

A graduate in business administration and urban planning, Pierre Cyr began his career in real estate appraisal in 1989
He specialized in the valuation of land and other properties for various purposes (litigation, ecological gifts, expropriation, etc). A member of the Executive Office of l’Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec from 1997 to 2007 and chairman of the admission committee of l’Ordre between 2002 and 2005, Pierre Cyr specializes notably in appraisal and negotiation for the purpose of expropriation and assessment appeal.

Furthermore, he was called to testify before the Bureau de révision de l’évaluation foncière du Québec, the Superior Court and the Tribunal Administratif du Québec.

After starting as a technician for the Société Québécoise d'Estimation inc. in 1976, Yvan Desnoyers studied at UQAM and completed a baccalaureate in business administration. He joined Raymond Joyal as an evaluation technician from 1985 to 1989 and as a certified evaluator until 1992.
 
President of the Desnoyers Group from Boucherville since 1992 Yvan Desnoyers participated in the closure of the merger in May 2021 with Raymond Joyal at which time he became vice-president of the firm.
 
Given his many years of experience in the field of real estate valuation, he has very good expertise in various fields such as valuation for financing, estate, capital gains, acquisition, sale, land value, Municipal valuation challenges, insurable value, and market value for all types of real estate property.

He is also recognized as an expert witness before the courts and the Review Bureau.

In addition to his area of expertise, he manages a large real estate portfolio that includes multi-family, commercial and office buildings.

Alain Lemaire began in the field of evaluation in 1982. He became an evaluator at Raymond, Joyal in 1987. Six years later, he accepted the position of Assistant Director at Royal LePage Commercial Inc. He served for seven years (1993-1999) before continuing his career at Les Évaluations Val Beq inc. as Director of Real Estate Services and as an Associate Director for CB Richard Ellis (2005-2009). He was also a teacher at the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board from 2001 to 2005.He has been back with Raymond Joyal since 2009.

Alain Lemaire has a wealth of experience in the valuation of residential, commercial and industrial properties for over 25 years.

After studying Business Administration at the Ecole des HEC and Real Estate Valuation at UQAM, Guy Saint-Cyr began his career in 1981 in the valuation division of real estate services at Montreal Trust, which he managed from 1988. He then joined the firm of Pierre Sirois & Associés as a senior evaluator until 1995, before moving on to a similar position at Raymond, Joyal, Cadieux.
​

In nearly 33 years of practice, Guy Saint-Cyr has developed a recognized expertise in the evaluation of large industrial and commercial properties, office buildings, seniors' residences, for financing and asset management purposes, oil sites and car dealerships.
